The product
How do the mock exams work?
Each unit's question bank is split into five complete, non-overlapping papers. A W01 mock is 100 questions in 120 minutes with the official syllabus weighting held inside every paper. You can flag questions, jump anywhere from the navigator, and save & resume (the clock keeps running). At zero the mock auto-submits.
Are these official CII questions?
No. Insurance Mock Exams is an independent study aid, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Chartered Insurance Institute. All questions are original items written to mirror the style, difficulty and syllabus weighting of the real exam — never copied from it. See our independence statement.
Do I get explanations?
Yes — on every question, whether you answered it correctly or not. Wrong answers also explain why the trap distractor fails.
What analytics do I get?
Paid tiers show performance by learning outcome and sub-topic, weighted by exam share, plus a trend across attempts and a “focus here next” recommendation. The free taster shows your score only.
What happens after I finish all five mocks?
On the lifetime tier, attempt 6 onwards enters revision mode: a full-size paper that recycles the questions you got wrong first, then the ones you've seen least recently — still exam-weighted.
What is the pass mark?
We score against a configurable pass threshold (currently 70%). Always confirm the current official pass mark in the CII's exam guide for your sitting.
Billing
Is it a subscription?
No — one-time payments only. Single unit USD 29.15; lifetime all-access USD 76.85 covering every current and future unit.
What is your refund policy?
14 days on your first purchase, provided you haven't completed more than one full mock. Details in the refund policy.
How is payment handled?
Securely through the Gate-E payment gateway. Prices are charged in Bahraini Dinar (BHD); other currencies shown on the site are indicative conversions. We never see or store your card details.
I bought one unit — can I upgrade later?
Yes. Upgrading to lifetime costs the difference (USD 47.70), from your account's billing page, any time.
Practical
Which devices are supported?
Current Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on desktop, tablet and mobile. The exam screen is fully usable on smaller screens — the question navigator collapses into a toggle.
What data do you keep about me?
The minimum: your account email, order records and your attempt history. You can request export or deletion any time — see the privacy policy.
I lost connection mid-mock — is my attempt gone?
No. Answers autosave as you go. Log back in and resume; the timer runs on the server so the countdown stays honest.
